Objectif<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3DFaceAnalyzer project aims at automatic interpretation of 3D face\u00a0 images so that contactless human-computer interaction based on typical user\u2019s facial attributes, such as facial expressions, gender, age and ethnic origin, can be developed for an improved HCI.<\/p>\n

While most of the face attribute sensitive applications are still\u00a0 unfathomable, especially in the field of human-computer interaction, one can already figure out some simple direct applications, including for instance reliable face recognition, user\u2019s affect recognition based on facial expression, age and gender specific human computer interaction, etc.<\/p>\n

This project, supported by ANR and NSFC, proposes to join the efforts of two groups Telecom Lille1\/LIFL and Ecole Centrale de Lyon\/LIRIS from the French\u00a0 side and the IRIP of Beihang University the IIP of North China University of Technology (NCUT) from the French side.<\/p>\n
